Full service FBO at Key West International now branded with Avfuel

Avfuel has announced that Island City Flying Service, the full-service FBO
at Key West International Airport
has become the latest company to brand with its products.

The FBO is currently undergoing a complete rebuild. The work is scheduled
for completion in early 2012 and the FBO has been owned by Paul De Poo since
1984. Aided by his cousin, vice president Peter Sellers, De Poo has built the
operation into a thriving family business fueled by a passion for airplanes and
aviation.

As Key West’s
popularity as a vacation destination has increased, Island City Flying Service
has adjusted accordingly. “Key
West has really gotten on the map in recent years,
resulting in increased business,” said Sellers. “We’ve added a tank
to the fuel farm and procured more fuel trucks to accommodate the increased
traffic.” Avfuel’s reliable product supply and equipment support was a key
factor when shopping for a fuel partner. “It was clear that Avfuel was the
way to go for us,” Sellers said. “There’s great tech support, nice
equipment, easy ordering procedures and no problems getting fuel.” In
addition, “Avfuel provides great overall support for our FBO in terms of
training, marketing, and programs such as AVTRIP,” Sellers added.
