Honeywell prepares Falcon customers for FANS

Honeywell Aerospace is marketing a Future Air Navigation System (FANS) aftermarket certification for Dassault Falcon customers.

All Falcon 900 and 900B operators are able to upgrade existing cockpit technologies with the communication and navigation system, enabling them to fly more efficient routes and save fuel.

Falcon 900 series operators will now be able to retrofit compliant technology into existing hardware, instead of completely upgrading cockpit systems, which makes meeting the 2020 mandates deadline more cost-effective.

The FANS system upgrade is part of the Dassault Falcon Select II program for the Falcon 900 and 900B, and is available to operators now. Honeywell is also planning on aftermarket certification for other legacy aircraft for this FANS mandate.
