HondaJet gains FAA production certificate

Honda Aircraft Company has earned a production certificate from the FAA for the HA-420 HondaJet at its world headquarters in Greensboro, North Carolina.

The production certificate grants Honda Aircraft the authorisation to produce, flight test and issue airworthiness certificates for the HondaJet for customer deliveries.

“This is a great achievement for our company as an aircraft manufacturer, and it is a very important milestone for ramping up production.”

Honda Aircraft has been steadily ramping up production since receiving the FAA type certificate for the HondaJet last year.
