In an interview with Corporate Jet Investor at the recent European Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition, Michimasa Fujino, president and CEO of Honda Aircraft, confirmed that the company is planning to bring a HondaJet to the EBACE 2015 static display in Geneva.
“Next year I promise to bring [a] HondaJet here,” Fujino told the Corporate Jet Investor cameras.
Fujino also confirmed that the company will deliver six aircraft immediately after the aircraft receives its type certification from the FAA and a further 50 aircraft in the 12 months following.
While this may sound ambitious, Fujino actually told us last October that the company is capable of delivering up to 100 HondaJets each year, following a ramp-up in production.
Honda Aircraft used the EBACE show to announce that they had rolled-out the first production HondaJet, which joins a test fleet of four aircraft.
Although N420EX is the fifth aircraft to roll-out, its serial number is actually 11.
