Himalaya Business Aviation chooses BAA for management

Himalaya Business Aviation (HBA) has chosen Business Aviation Asia to provide its business jet management services.

HBA is a joint venture between BAA Jet Management and Smart Empire Global, a division of Royal China International.

The three-year contract is valued at $25 million.

According to a filing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, BAA will receive $3.1 million in 2017, $11.2 million in 2018 and $11.8 million in 2019.

HBA entered into the partnership with BAA to build up its business jet management portfolio. Before the joint venture, HBA was called New Flyer Limited.
