Hawker Beechcraft taking orders for Pro-Line 21 Synthetic Vision
Hawker Beechcraft Global Customer Support announced that it is accepting orders for the Synthetic Vision System (SVS) upgrade for all Pro Line 21-equipped Beechcraft King Air 200/300 series aircraft. The upgrade for this platform is scheduled for entry into service in March 2013.
Hawker Beechcraft and Rockwell Collins entered into an agreement last year that will provide all Hawker and Beechcraft models with the upgrade package, which offers significant safety and capability improvements by adding synthetic vision data to existing Pro Line 21 displays.
“Synthetic vision is a significant safety upgrade that provides a clear vision forward for flight crews in all weather conditions, underscoring our commitment to increasing customer safety and expanding operational capability,” said Christi Tannahill, Hawker Beechcraft senior vice president, Global Customer Support.
