Hawker Beechcraft Chester installs its first in flight Wi-Fi
Hawker Beechcraft's Chester facility recently installed its first in-flight Wi-Fi system to a Pro-Line 21 equiped Hawker 850XP business jet.
Hawker Beechcraft Global Customer Support announced during the recent Middle East Business Aviation (MEBA) airshow that its Hawker Beechcraft Services facility in Chester, had installed its first in-flight Wi-Fi system to a Pro Line 21-equipped Hawker 850XP.
The Thrane & Thrane Aviator 200 Broadband Wi-Fi system was integrated into the model, purchased by Beirut-based operator Executive Aircraft Services, during an extensive refurbishment at the UK service centre.
“With more and more business being conducted online, companies are increasingly looking for ways to ‘stay connected’ throughout their travels,” said Clive Prentice, Hawker Beechcraft vice president and general manager for EMEA operations, Global Customer Support. “Our team in Chester is equipped to install this highly sought-after service on our Hawker jets and King Air family of aircraft.”

Executive Aircraft Services operates and manages seven Hawker aircraft, including one Hawker 900XP, two Hawker 850XPs, two Hawker 800XPs and two Hawker 700s from Lebanon’s Rafic Hariri International Airport..
