Hawker Beechcraft to increase scheduled production of the Hawker 400XPR programme after the 2012 production is sold-out

Hawker Beechcraft
Corporation Global Customer Support has announced plans to increase the scheduled
production of its Hawker 400XPR programme following a sellout of previously
planned production. The Hawker 400XPR is a factory-direct aircraft upgrade
programme for the Hawker/Beechjet 400 with a number of upgrades, including new
Hawker winglets, the Williams International FJ44-4A-32 engine and optional
Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 avionic suite. Certification of the engines and
winglets is expected for the end of June 2012.

“It is exciting to see the
level of customer interest we are receiving in our XPR programmes,” said Christi
Tannahill, Hawker Beechcraft vice president, Global Customer Support. “The
program’s price points, capabilities and full-factory support are driving
forces in its popularity. Increasing planned production for the Hawker 400XPR will
provide those customers seeking the performance and value of the aircraft to
acquire one sooner than originally planned.”
