Beechcraft delivers 59 turboprops in the first quarter of 2013

Beechcraft delivered 59 turboprops in the first quarter 2013, compared to 37 in the same period 2012, and noted strong sales in Australia, which now represents one of the largest business turboprop markets outside of the US.

Earlier in the year Beechcraft announced its products represented 53% of the Australian business turboprop market, and deliveries of King Airs to the country had increased by more than 50% over the past decade.

Tony Jones, Hawker Pacific’s senior vice president of aircraft sales & flight services group, says the results are due to Beechcraft’s commitment to its internal strengthening of the company, and its high performing aircraft.
