After expanding its third party support for business jets, Hangar8 now plans to add the Learjet 31, Learjet 45 and Airbus and Boeing corporate jet families.

Hangar8 has further enhanced its third party support capabilities at its Oxford, MRO facility and now covers a broader
range of bizjet types. Within a year of acquiring EASA 145 approval, the company now provides CAMO – Part M support and line support for all Hawker types including the 4000, the Beechjet/Hawker 400, the Dassault Falcon 2000, Citationjet (525) family and the Embraer Phenom 100.

Recently added accreditations were for the Bombardier 601, 604 and 605 models, with Global 5000, 6000 and Falcon 50EX expected shortly. The company also plans to add Learjet 45/31A approvals and expand into support for Boeing and Airbus ACJ
families by the middle of the fourth quarter, having already secured CAMO approval for the Embraer 170/190 (Lineage) and Citation Excel (560).

On the base support side, with Hangar8 now supporting the largest managed fleet of Hawkers and one of the largest Challenger fleets in Europe, the company can now undertake typical annual inspections for its own managed fleet and that of third party
customers. It is also mandated to cover warranty support on its own managed Hawker fleet.

Business development director for London Oxford Airport, James Dillon-Godfray, said: “We are delighted that Hangar8 plc has invested in manpower, tooling and training to bring these new capabilities to their UK home airport. We already enjoy broad support on many types including Bombardier Learjets, Challengers and Globals, most Pipers and light GA types, whilst hosting Hawker Beechcraft and Cessna Service Centres, but this adds further choice and broadens the range of types supported at Oxford
significantly.”
