Company adds Lincoln, California brake shop facility

Gulfstream Lincoln brake shopGulfstream Aerospace facility in Lincoln, California,
has recently opened an aircraft brake repair, modification and overhaul
shop.  The addition complements the wheel and tyre shop that has been in
operation since March 2010.

The Lincoln
facility, which is approximately 30 miles northeast of Sacramento, is unique from the other service
centres since it is dedicated to component repair, modification and
overhaul.  Gulfstream Savannah and Gulfstream Lincoln are the only company
facilities that perform brake maintenance.

“Our Lincoln
site offers unique capabilities that are crucial to providing customers with
the top-rated support they’ve come to expect from Gulfstream,” said Mark Burns,
president, Gulfstream Product Support.  “The more capabilities we have at
all of our locations, the better prepared we are to meet customer demand.”

Technicians at the Lincoln facility specialise in GV and GIV brakes,
as well as wheels and tyres on the G200, G150, GV, GIV and GIII models.
The facility can also work on components built by other original equipment
manufacturers, including Bombardier and Hawker Beechcraft.
