Gulfstream to expand Savannah production facility
Gulfstream Aerospace announce US$500 million expansion plan at Savannah.
Gulfstream
have announced a seven year plan to expand their executive jet facility at Savannah Hilton Head
International Airport.
The total cost of the plan will be US$500 million will include new facilities
in the northwest quadrant of the airport and renovation of some existing
buildings. The expansion will in turn create around 1,000 new jobs at
Gulfstream.
Gulfstream
sees modest recovery in orders and says the expansion is necessary to meet the
expected increase in business jets ad the maintenance that will follow.
