Gulfstream is displaying an updated G600 cabin mock up at the NBAA.

  • Gulfstream update G500 & G600 progress
  • The company says that it has redesigned the cabin of the aircraft following customer feedback.

The updated cabin mock up includes enhanced cabin lighting and a smaller passenger service unit that increases headroom and passenger space in the aircraft.

Other redesigns include an ergonomically enhanced aft lavatory, and improved seating.

“We have collaborated with our customers throughout this project,” said Tray Crow, director, interior design, Gulfstream. “Since unveiling the original G600 mock-up at the G500 and G600 announcement event in October 2014, we have been gathering feedback from customers to ensure we meet their needs and deliver an ideal in-flight environment. The interior is so comfortable and functional that passengers will forget they are travelling near the speed of sound.”

Gulfstream launched the G600 in October 2014. The company is expecting the G600 to be certificated in 2018, with entry into service following in 2019.
