Gulfstream expands Savannah showroom for G400
Gulfstream has expanded the showroom at its Savannah-based headquarters to include the new Gulfstream G400. The experience features a full-size mock-up of the aircraft, multimedia content and an interior design display.
“The expanded showroom brings a new level of interaction and customer immersion to the G400 and offers great inspiration for the aircraft interior design and completions process,” said Mark Burns, president, Gulfstream. “Customers will enjoy a multi-sensory experience like no other while exploring the technologies behind the Gulfstream cabin environment, safety differentiators and performance capabilities.”
The G400 showroom features projection-mapping technology. There is the opportunity to learn more about the Gulfstream Symmetry Flight Deck and Gulfstream Cabin Experience, as well as the design process itself.
The G400 mock-up also features a 2.5-living-area floor plan for up to 11 passengers. An interior designer will be available to guide visiting customers through upholstery, leathers, textiles and custom carpeting for the G400 cabin.
The G400 is the first entry into the large-cabin business-jet class in more than a decade for the OEM. The twinjet will travel 4,200 nm at Mach 0.85. The G400 also features Gulfstream’s Predictive Landing Performance System, 10 Gulfstream panoramic oval windows and an all-new plasma-ionisation clean air system.
The showroom also features full-size mock-ups of the Gulfstream G600 and Gulfstream G700.
The new G400 and its larger sibling the G800 were launched earlier this week, Corporate Jet Investor compares the two aircraft to their nearest classmates.
