Gulfstream displays DesignBook at NBAA
Gulfstream Aerospace is demonstrating a new interior design tool known as the DesignBook during the NBAA in Orlando. DesignBook allows customers to evaluate potential paint schemes, cabin layouts and interior cabin selections.
“DesignBook brings the Gulfstream showroom experience right to the customer,” said Tray Crow, director, interior design, Gulfstream. “With the help of our interior design team and this tool, customers can easily visualize and evaluate different elements before making cabin selections. From paint patterns to sidewall selections, DesignBook helps customers make informed decisions about their aircraft’s design.”
“This gives customers a tremendous degree of flexibility and the potential for countless combinations,” Crow said. “By using DesignBook and working with our designers, customers can create a personalized aircraft interior that reflects their particular sense of style, and they’ll quickly be able to see what works for their particular cabin configuration.”
Gulfstream will debut DesignBook for the G450 select interior at the NBAA. Customers can craft a cabin that meets their exact design specifications and then immediately see it on a large screen. An accompanying scanner will allow customers to scan a variety of materials and see how they’ll look in the cabin of the aircraft.
Real-time rendering for the G450 will be available at Gulfstream’s NBAA exhibit. The same technology for the G650 will be available at Gulfstream’s NBAA static display.
