Gulfstream Brazil gains FAA Part 145 approval

Gulfstream Brazil based in Sorocaba has gained FAA Part 145 authorisation, which allows the facility to perform maintenance on most US-registered Gulfstream business jets.
Mark Burns, president of Gulfstream product support, says: “Many of our US-based customers travel to Brazil to conduct business. We are pleased to add to our service capabilities to meet their needs.”

The FAA approval covers the following Gulfstream aircraft: GV series, including G550; GIV series, including G450; G200, G150, G100 and GIII.
Approval for the G650 and G280 is expected later in 2015.
Gulfstream Brazil is located at Bertram Luiz Leupolz Airport about 56 miles/90 kilometers from downtown São Paulo.
