Gulfstream Beijing gains FAA Part 145 approval

The Gulfstream Beijing service center recently gained Part 145 approval from the US FAA. The authorisation allows the Beijing technicians to perform base and line maintenance and aircraft on ground (AOG) for most US registered Gulfstream aircraft.

Mark Burns, president, Gulfstream Product Support said: “This achievement marks the culmination of a committed effort by many employees at Gulfstream Beijing and company headquarters in Savannah.”

“More and more of our U.S. operators are based in or traveling to China and this certification enables them to take advantage of the comprehensive support provided by our team at Gulfstream Beijing,” added Burns.

Gulfstream Beijing became the first factory-owned business jet service center in China when it opened in November 2012. The approvals cover Gulfstream G550, G450, G280, G200 and GV aircraft.

Gulfstream Beijing is a joint venture between Gulfstream and Hainan Airlines Group.
