Gulfstream appoints Lor Izzard director of sales support and technical marketing

Gulfstream Aerospace names Lor Izzard as director of sales support and technical marketing.

Gulfstream Aerospace has appointed Lor Izzard, who has worked at the company since 1999, as director of sales support and technical marketing.

In his new role, Izzard will be responsible for leading sales engineering, technical marketing and sales and design centre operations, and he will report to Bill Shira, vice president of marketing and sales support.

Izzard joined Gulfstream in 1999 as an electrical engineer for service engineering. Most recently in 2009, Izzard was named the G200 Entry Into Service (EIS) programme manager and from there moved into the G280 EIS programme director role.

“In his EIS roles, Lor successfully managed the delivery of some of the most reliable and operationally flexible aircraft for Gulfstream’s customers, earning the respect of both his peers and our customers,” Bill Shira said. “We look forward to Lor’s leadership in sales support and technical marketing.”
