GlobeAir to close August 2018 as the market leader in the VLJ segment

Linz, Austria – September 19th, 2018: With a 16,03% year-over-year increase in operated flights from January 1st to August 31st and a remarkable 23,00% increment during the past summer, GlobeAir has confirmed its status of market leader in the very light jets (VLJ), in August 2018.

“This season we have registered a remarkable increase in last-minute bookings, with customers inquiring about flights 14 hours before take-off. The most-requested summer destinations have been the Côte d’Azur and the Balearic Islands; with Ibiza, Palma, Figari and London as the most challenging airports to find slots,” says Jonathan Berdoz, VP Sales & Marketing at GlobeAir. “This fairly unprecedented approach to bookings sheds new light on the behaviour of last-minute travellers.”
