A German registered Citation CJ2+ was damaged on June 6 after coming off the runway in St Tropez, France.

Built in 2013, Cessna Citation CJ2+ MSN 525A-0514 / D-IULI was operating a positioning flight from Figari at the time with no passengers on board.

The pilot of the aircraft was taken to hospital in nearby Toulon with serious injuries. The co-pilot was treated for minor injuries.

According to pictures posted on French news website Francetvinfo.fr the aircraft came off the runway during landing and came to rest in a wooded area close to the end of the runway.

A search of the Eurocontrol RVSM monitoring website shows that the aircraft was registered to ProAir Aviation GmbH, a Filderstadt, Germany-based charter operator.

There have been three runway overruns in the past few months, the first and second involving Gulfstream G200s.
