Gama Aviation adds another two aircraft to managed fleet

The Gama Group is displaying at the Middle East Business Aviation show
(MEBA) in Dubai
from 7 to 10 December. Its regional company Gama Aviation FZC has been
successful and met the targets set in their first year of operation. To
underline this success the company will add a fifth wide-bodied aircraft to the
managed fleet, a privately owned Bombardier Global XRS coming on line this
month.

The Global
follows a new Embraer Legacy 600, privately owned and available for third party
charter, which joins the fleet just after the MEBA show.  These two
aircraft join a Challenger 604, 605 and 850 on the regional fleet. Gama
Aviation FZC only received their UAE GCAA Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) in
February 2010 and has grown further since.
More positions will be created as work continues on the new hangar and Fixed Based
Operation (FBO) at Sharjah
International Airport.

Gama is
currently applying for UAE GCAA CAR 145 maintenance approval, which it hopes to
receive in the first half of 2011, this with the completion of the hangar will
provide support for a wide variety of executive jets in the region.
