Gama Aviation is approved for all winter weather operations at Chambery Airport
Gama Aviation has now been approved for all winter weather operations at the Chambery-Savoie Airport in France.
The Gama Group announced that further enhancements to its winter season charter operations with approval from DGAC (the Directorate General for Civil Aviation in France) to be able to operate in all weather conditions to Chambery Airport, France.
Gama Group’s Falcon 2000 and Challenger 604 aircraft and flight crew are now fully approved and suitably trained for IFR operations at Chambery, to and from this gateway to numerous Alpine ski resorts, including Courcheval, Meribel and Val d’Isere.
The Dassault Falcon 2000 is the most recent addition to Gama Aviation’s European based charter fleet. With its large cabin, high cruising speed at over 500 mph and seating for up to 10 passengers, the Falcon 2000 is ideal for both short and long range flights and with a large baggage hold, is larger than most comparable corporate jets, with plenty of room for winter sports equipment.
