The European Business Awards (EBAs) has awarded private jet charter company GainJet Aviation, National Champion of the EBAs 2012/2013 Awards Programme. The awards event was held at the British Embassy in Athens, hosted by British Ambassador David Landsman and EBAs sponsor RSM International, with special guest speaker Greek Deputy Minister of Development, Notis Mitarakis.

GainJet operates a wide selection of executive aircraft available for private charter based throughout Europe, ranging from corporate airliners like their VIP Boeing 757 and VIP Boeing 737s to heavy business jets like their Gulfstream G550, G450, and Global Express XRS. The company is also expecting delivery of a VIP B737 with stateroom and a Gulfstream G650 in 2013.

GainJet CEO Captain James McBride said “We’re proud to be selected to represent Greece and the BizAv industry as a National Champion at the EBAs. The European Business Awards is widely recognized as the showcase for Europe’s most dynamic companies and to be officially identified as one of these companies is an honour for us. We are pleased to highlight the vibrant industry that we are a part of and look forward to the next round of the judging process where we can explain in more depth the dynamics behind our industry and how we are achieving business success in these tough trading conditions.”

Adrian Tripp, CEO of the European Business Awards said “This year, the video element of the awards has allowed our panel of expert judges to gain a much deeper understanding of the business strategies of all the National Finalists. It is because of this that the judging has been particularly tough and this year, perhaps more than ever before, it is an exceptional accolade to be picked as a National Champion. Together with our sponsors and supporters we’re looking forward to seeing GainJet in the next round.”

Gainjet had been nominated by RSM Stylianou and achieved National Finalist status in May 2012.

Captain McBride explained “Customer focus is one of the main driving forces behind GainJet and our success. So to be recognized not only for business excellence, but for superior customer focus as well is a major reward for our efforts. We thank the EBAs for this honour and look forward to representing Greece and the BizAv industry in the next round.”
