FSI in Vero Beach celebrates 45 years training
Vero Beach facility opened on 17 October 1966
FlightSafety International has announced that the FlightSafety
Academy in Vero Beach, Florida
will celebrate the 45th anniversary of its founding on 17 October
2011.
“The FlightSafety Academy
has made a significant contribution to the aviation industry since its founding
in 1966,” said Bruce Whitman, president and chief executive.
He continue saying “The Academy is
recognised worldwide for the high quality training it provides and for helping
to prepare each student to pursue a career as a professional pilot. We
sincerely appreciate the many contributions of our teammates in Vero Beach and thank the
18,000 Academy graduates who fly for 62 airlines and over 100 corporate flight
departments around the world for their confidence and support.”
