FlightSafety International has announced that its new Gulfstream G650 and G280 training programs are underway. Training for the Gulfstream G650 using two full flight simulators is provided at FlightSafety’s learning center in Savannah. The Dallas learning center offers training for the Gulfstream G280 using one full flight simulator.

“Our Customers are very pleased with the training they are receiving for the new Gulfstream G650 and G280 aircraft programs in Savannah and Dallas,” said David Davenport, senior vice president. “We appreciate the significant efforts of all those involved at FlightSafety and Gulfstream to design and produce one of the most advanced and comprehensive training programs available to date.”

“We worked closely with Gulfstream for over three years to develop the flight simulators courseware, curriculums, and training materials,” said Davenport. “Our Instructors received extensive training that included experience flying the actual aircraft in order to be prepared to teach real world scenarios based on their own flight experience. As a result they are delivering the outstanding training our Customers expect and deserve.”

The Gulfstream G650 and G280 aircraft simulators have received FAA and EASA qualification and are equipped with FlightSafety’s latest advances in technology.

Customers are able to download the training manuals for both aircraft onto an iPad. This enables them to easily take notes and to refer back to the manuals later. They can bring their own iPad or use one provided by FlightSafety for their use while at the Learning Center. They also have access to pre-study materials online that include FlightDECK Builder, FlightDECK flows, Flash Cards and complete manuals.

Practical hands-on training for maintenance technicians is available through the total technical training program developed and taught jointly by FlightSafety and Gulfstream. Other programs offered for the aircraft include flight attendant, crew emergency, cabin communications and cabin management systems.
