FlightSafety upgrades Gulfstream simulators at Wilmington learning centre

FlightSafety International has upgraded the Gulfstream GIV and GV simulators at its Wilmington learning centre.

The company’s new VITAL 1100 visual system has been installed on the Gulfstream GIV simulator. Flight Management System 6.1 capabilities have been added to both the Gulfstream GIV and GV simulators.

Daniel MacLellan, Vice President, Operations said: “Working with Gulfstream to upgrade our Gulfstream GIV and GV simulators demonstrates our mutual commitment to provide training programs that feature the latest, most advanced technology.”

The Wilmington learning centre offers training for the Gulfstream GIV, G200, G300, G400, GV, G450 and G550 aircraft. Gulfstream G650 training is scheduled to begin in Wilmington early next year.

FlightSafety has provided training for Gulfstream aircraft for more than 50 years.
