FlightSafety selected as Falcon 8X training provider


The first Falcon 8X gets its wings

FlightSafety International has been selected by Dassault as the factory authorised training provider for the new Falcon 8X aircraft.

Bruce Whitman, president and CEO, said: “We are pleased to have been selected by Dassault to provide training for the Falcon 8X.”

“Our Customers will appreciate the addition of the Falcon 8X to the complete range of training we provide for Dassault aircraft. FlightSafety’s simulation engineers and courseware developers will work closely with Dassault to ensure the full flight simulators and training programs are of the highest quality and meet the specific needs of the pilots, maintenance technicians and flight attendants who will operate and support the Falcon 8X around the world,” added Whitman.

FlightSafety will initially design and manufacture two full flight simulators for the Falcon 8X. The first simulator will be installed at FlightSafety’s Learning Center in Teterboro, New Jersey. The start of training will coincide with the entry into service of the aircraft. The second Falcon 8X simulator will be installed at FlightSafety’s Learning Center in Paris.

The simulators will be qualified to Level D and approved for training by the European Aviation Safety Agency and the Federal Aviation Administration.
