HondaJet and FlighSafety International announce that the design and manufacture of the first HondaJet full flight simulator is underway

FSI HondaJet FFSFlightSafety
International and Honda Aircraft have announced that the design and manufacture
of the first full flight simulator for the HondaJet is underway.

Training
using the first HondaJet full flight simulator will be available at Honda
Aircraft Company’s facility in Greensboro,
North Carolina.

“The design
and manufacture of the new HondaJet full flight simulator is underway,” said
Bruce Whitman, president and chief executive, FlightSafety International. “We
appreciate and value our close working relationship with Honda and together
look forward to providing training in conjunction with aircraft deliveries.”

Development
work is continuing and FlightSafety will provide initial, type rating, and
recurrent HondaJet pilot training, for both single and dual-crew operations.

FlightSafety
also will provide the HondaJet mentor programme to further enhance safety. One
of FlightSafety’s highly qualified instructors will fly with pilots of the
HondaJet to help ensure they are fully prepared to operate the aircraft safely.
The FlightSafety HondaJet programmes will provide FAA and EASA approved certified
training courses.
