First production Citation Latitude rollout and team
Cessna Aircraft celebrated the roll-out of the first production Citation Latitude at the company’s Wichita, Kansas manufacturing facility.
The roll out is another step towards the aircraft’s type certification by the FAA, which Textron expect to receive in the second quarter of this year.

Scott Ernest, president and CEO, says: “Our product investments extend beyond the design and performance features of the aircraft with innovations in our manufacturing processes.”
“The Citation Latitude team has redefined what customers should expect from a business aircraft in this segment, while also redefining the aircraft build process,” Ernest adds.
The certification programme has four aircraft flying with some 500 flights and 1,200 hours flown to date.
The first fully-configured aircraft made its public debut at the 2014 NBAA Convention & Exhibition in Orlando, Florida and has since been touring the country being displayed to customers.
