FBO RIGA partnership hits the right note

Baltic Musical Seasons
Top classical musicians from all over the world are spending the summer in Latvia, playing a series of concerts at the Baltic Musical Seasons festival.
And FBO Riga is the festival’s partner for business aviation, handling business aircraft arriving at Riga International Airport for the event, which is in its first year.
Concerts have been taking place in Jurmala and Riga throughout August, and are due to continue into September. They feature performances by stars such as conductor Riccardo Muti; pianist Denis Matsuev; singers Elina Garancha, Khibla Gerzmava, Kristina Opolais and Pavel Chernoh; violinist Joshua Bell, and trumpeter Chris Botti.
Baltic Musical Seasons is run by a charitable foundation that aims to “conduct large, high profile events in the field of symphonic music, opera and ballet in Latvia. [It] undertakes the task of popularizing classical music and promoting its native country as a cultural centre of Northern Europe.”
FBO Riga is owned by Flight Consulting Group and located at Riga International Airport.
“It is wonderful that the cultural life of Riga and Jurmala has received such an exquisite gift as the Baltic Musical Seasons. The festival has become a real happening for all who value beautiful and everlasting music, given to us by great composers and which is performed by outstanding artists.”
Roman Starkov, founder and co-owner of Flight Consulting Group, said: “It is wonderful that the cultural life of Riga and Jurmala has received such an exquisite gift as the Baltic Musical Seasons. The festival has become a real happening for all who value beautiful and everlasting music, given to us by great composers and which is performed by outstanding artists.
“For us it is a great honour to be an official business aviation partner of the Baltic Musical Seasons. We are very happy that stars of such a level perform at our hospitable Jurmala, and their shows are of a great interest for our clients!”
Alexander Gafin, a member of the Baltic Musical Seasons Foundation Council, added: “We have organised the Baltic Musical Seasons for the first time and already count on success: attendance of the concerts overcame all expectations.
“The first impression that guests who arrive in any country receive at the airport is important. That is why, for us, it is so important that FBO RIGA is the partner of the project – the business aviation centre totally corresponds to the level of the festival and guests’ expectations.”
