Falcon supporting carriers through turbulent period in Middle East

Falcon Flight Support services has been assisting carriers with their operations as tensions rise in the Middle East between Israel and Iran.
The Alex Group Investment subsidiary has been supporting operators with tasks such as flight planning, permits, fuelling and ground handling.
“As an operator ourselves, we know how fast things can change in this region, a route that’s open today could be restricted tomorrow,” said Sultan Rashit Abdulla Rashit Al Shene, founder and chairman of Alex Group Investment. “That’s the reason why Falcon Flight Support was built, to act fast and keep flights moving. We don’t wait for problems to happen. We stay ahead of them.”
According to Al Shene, airlines regularly need flight support when launching new routes, repositioning aircraft due to technical reasons, or applying for block and seasonal permits. These operations often require coordination across multiple civil aviation authorities, local handlers, and regional regulations which Falcon manages.
Fuel costs are another key concern, especially at remote or smaller airports. Falcon Flight Support helps airlines get better fuel prices by using its strong industry relationships, added Al Shene.
Earlier this month, Falcon Luxe, the charter division of Falcon, began offering clients “block hours” business jet access as an alternative to traditional chartering.
“Today, people want flying to be simple,” said Al Shene. “Block hours are our way of making that happen. You don’t have to think about availability, pricing, or paperwork every time. You just fly when you need to, and it works.”
Also this month, Falcon Elite, the FBO division of the company, reported aircraft movement growth of more than 150% between August 2024 and May 2025. Speaking at the time, Al Shene said: “What we’ve achieved with Falcon Elite is just the beginning. We’ve built something exceptional, and it’s all thanks to the trust our clients have placed in us. Their belief in our vision has been the driving force behind our success.”
