FAI Technik named authorised SpaceX Starlink dealer
FAI Technik equipped its first aircraft with Starlink in June.
FAI Technik GmbH, a German MRO provider for business jets and a subsidiary of FAI Aviation Group Holding, has been appointed an authorised dealer and installer of SpaceX’s Starlink satellite internet system for aviation.
Installations will be carried out at FAI Technik’s maintenance facility at Albrecht Dürer Airport Nuremberg.
FAI Technik equipped its first aircraft, a Bombardier Global Express XRS, with Starlink in June, and is scheduled to complete further installations across select aircraft in its own fleet.
Starlink installation services are also available to external aircraft owners and operators, the company said.

FAI Technik is an EASA Part-145 maintenance organisation based in Nuremberg, offering aircraft maintenance, modification and installation services.
The company said Starlink complements its existing connectivity offerings, which include Gogo’s Galileo, Honeywell’s Ka-Band and Collins’ Ku-Band systems.
