F/LIST products featured in the worldwide first Boeing Business Jet MAX 8

Thomasberg, Austria – In 2018, Comlux Completion was chosen by the first customer of the BBJ MAX8 program to complete their aircraft. Comlux selected F/LIST, the internationally renowned manufacturer of high-end interiors for business & private jets, yachts and luxury residences, to deliver its unique stone products to BBJ MAX8.

F/LIST is providing high-end quality, reliability and extensive services to its customers. Especially thanks to its unique knowledge for special one-off products. Comlux collaborated with the innovative manufacturer for several projects in the past. With the commission of the interior of the BBJ MAX8, this collaboration has been further strengthened.

“It is a great pleasure for F/LIST to be part of the supplier team of Comlux Completion. Wherever our partners wish to concentrate on their own core competencies, we bring our extensive experience in developing and manufacturing special or one-off products, gained from our own research and development (R&D) department”, explains Franz Dieter, Director Business Development OEM & Completion, F/LIST.

“We are always keeping our customers’ wishes at heart and the technical performance in mind. With F/LIST we have found a partner who shares our corporate values, working together on the BBJ MAX8”, adds Daron Dryer, CEO Comlux Completion.

Comlux completed the BBJ MAX8 with an interior from F/LIST. These include several marble countertops, cabinets and washbasins. The Austrian company also supplied two shower units with thin stone applications at the shower walls as well as on the outside, including system integration. The showers meet all relevant requirements of wet areas in aircraft and offer generous space for comfortable showering. On top, F/LIST engineered and produced a bar unit with an illuminated stone front and top, which combines elegance at its highest level, while still meeting strict regulations for weight, which is one of the primary challenges.
