ExecuJet launches JV in China
The ExecuJet Aviation Group and Tianjin Haite have announced a Joint
Venture agreement to launch a business aircraft maintenance and management
company in China.
The ExecuJet Haite Aviation Services China Company will be based at Tianjin Binhai Airport.
The facility will offer business jet management and maintenance services which
will be expanded to include a Fixed Base Operation (FBO)
The Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul
(MRO) facility should be complete in August 2011 with the hangars being big
enough for two large and three smaller executive jet aircraft. ExecuJet will obtain
a Chinese Part 135 Aircraft Operating Certificate (AOC) and a Part 145
maintenance certificate and expects to maintain over 40 executive jets annually
at the new facilty.
ExecuJet currently operates a sales office in Beijing which will continue under the
management of General Manager Yu Yubin. With Tianjin Airports location just
120km from Beijing and 30 minutes on high speed
train, the location perfectly links the two operations in China.
