ExecuJet Berlin celebrates fifth anniversary
Berlin facility now handles around 3,000 movements a year
ExecuJet Europe is marking the fifth anniversary of its Berlin Schönefeld FBO this month. The facility has grown significantly, now handling around 3,000 movements a year. Aircraft visiting have been as large as the Boeing BBJ, Airbus Corporate Jet and Boeing 767, highlighting ExecuJet Berlin’s capability to handle any size business aircraft.
Nicole Gut, ExecuJet European FBO director said: “We are delighted to celebrate our fifth anniversary. Our brand and expertise was recognised in January 2010 when we successfully won the bid to manage the airport’s General Aviation terminal (GAT) and again earlier this year when we were proud to receive the Shell Gold Service Award, which recognises the high standards of safety and security that we provide at ExecuJet for both our passengers and visiting flight crew.”
ExecuJet is the only full service FBO at Berlin Schönefeld. Building on its success in Berlin, the company is eyeing the potential for an expanded FBO network in Germany and possibly adding to its capabilities in Berlin. Establishing more European FBOs has been high on the ExecuJet agenda over the last 12 months and will continue to be so for the coming year.
Since October last year ExecuJet Europe has increased its European FBO offering from two to nine with the addition of five FBOs in Spain, a partnership FBO in Paris and most recently the announcement at NBAA in October that ExecuJet has won the tender to run the FBO at the UK’s Cambridge Airport starting January 2012.
