ExecuJet adds three Spanish FBOs
Ibiza, Palma and Gerona added to ExecuJet’s European network
ExecuJet has added three new fixed based operations (FBO) to its
European network. With these new locations the company now has a network of
seven European based FBOs.
The Mallorcan Son San Joan
Airport has been confirmed as home to the ExecuJet Spanish head office. The
Ibiza FBO opened in April and the Palma
facility opened in May 2011. ExecuJet will be base a Hawker 800 at palma available for third
party charter. “Our expectation is that Palma
will be busy all year round. There is an extensive network of wealthy
individuals that live and work on the island who travel all year, and an active
Spanish business community travelling to and from the peninsula,” said Nicole.Gut,
European FBO director for ExecuJet.
“ExecuJet has chosen to
expand into Spain
as we view it as an area of economic opportunity. By growing our FBO bases now
we are well positioned for when the Spanish economy begins to rebound. We have
moved into airports that we know are already serving an increasing amount of
international movements and expect the business to grow significantly in the
next few years,” says Cedric Migeon managing director of ExecuJet Europe.
