Embraer has opened the Global
Customer Centre in Melbourne, Florida
and delivers the first Phenom 100 assembled in the United States to Robert Taylor,
chief executive of Executive AirShare.

“It is a historic day for Embraer.
After 32 years of continuous presence in the United States, we are extremely
proud to have reached full-fledged operations that not only assembles aircraft
in a state-of-the-art paperless factory, but also hosts our executive jet
customers in the equally impressive Customer Centre,” says Frederico
Fleury Curado, Embraer president and chief executive “Furthermore, with the on-schedule completion of our Customer Centre and
imminent delivery of the first Phenom 100, Embraer reiterates its commitment to
be closer to its customers and to maintain a strong partnership with the state
of Florida and the Brevard County community”.

opening, in conjunction with Embraer’s first US
manufacturing plant, which began operations on the Space

During the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Kansas
City – based fractional aircraft provider, Executive
AirShare, was presented with the first US made Phenom 100 entry level jet. “Executive AirShare is proud of the honour of
having the first delivery of an aircraft that Embraer has produced in the United States”
says Robert Taylor, chief executive of Executive AirShare “Upon delivery of this aircraft, our fleet
will grow to 18 Phenom 100 and Phenom 300, serving the Central US and Great
Lakes regions.”

“The presentation of the first Melbourne-produced
Phenom represents the pinnacle of success in this project and demonstrates the
culmination of the entire project team’s efforts. We look forward to
welcoming Embraer’s global clientele and showcasing all the Space Coast

the Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast.
