Company delivers Legacy 650 to FAL Aviation based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Embraer announced at EBACE in Geneva, the sale and delivery of a Legacy 650 to FAL
Aviation, a privately owned subsidiary of FAL Group based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Owned by Sheik Fahad Al Athel, the
company was one of the first operators of the Legacy 600 in 2003. Now it is the
first to operate the Legacy 650 in Saudi Arabia. Complementing the
Legacy 600, the Legacy 650, with its longer range, will allow FAL Aviation to
fly non-stop from Riyadh to London
or Beijing.

“Following on from the type’s
introduction in Jordan and the UAE, this first Legacy 650 into Saudi Arabia is a clear endorsement of the
market acceptance for our aircraft in the region,” said Colin Steven, Embraer
vice president, Marketing and Sales, Europe, Africa and Middle
East – Executive Jets. “Our Legacy family, offering an outstanding
level of comfort, excellent performance and state-of-the-art onboard
technology, perfectly fits customer expectations in the Middle East, allowing them to fly
nonstop to London or Beijing
from Riyadh.”

The Legacy 650 entered service in late
2010 and can fly four passengers, under NBAA IFR conditions, nonstop from Moscow to Shanghai or from London to New
Delhi.

“For us the Legacy 650 was the natural
upgrade of the Legacy 600 to fit our needs in terms of extended range,” said
Sheik Fahad Al Athel, owner of FAL Group. “Both our Legacy aircraft which
combine luxury, comfort, large baggage volume, innovation and operating
efficiency, will afford our clients journeys that are as fast and pleasant as
possible.”
