Embraer appoints new chief financial officer
Paulo Penido Pinto Marques is the new executive vice president
Embraer has announced the appointment of
Paulo Penido Pinto Marques as chief financial officer effective 18 July 2011.
He will take over the responsibilities of Cynthia Marcondes Ferreira Benedetto,
who is leaving the Company to pursue personal endeavors.
Paulo Penido has accumulated broad
experience and market recognition with extensive involvement in both the
financial system with such organizations as Citibank, BankBoston, and JP Morgan
and in large Brazilian industries, like Usiminas, Cosipa and CSN.
“Paulo is a
significant hire for Embraer, and his experience and professional capabilities
will be of great value to the Company’s growth process,” stated Embraer president and chief
executive officer Frederico Fleury Curado.
