Embraer half-year deliveries down from 2016

Embraer’s 2Q17 results show that the Brazilian OEM delivered 39 business jets in the first six months of 2017, ending June 30th – 27 of which were light jets, and 12 large jets.
In the first half of 2016, Embraer delivered a total of 49 aircraft, comprised of 35 light jets and 14 large jets.
The 2nd quarter was more positive for Embraer – delivering 24 aircraft – only two fewer than 2Q16 (although the Legacy 450 was not delivered in 2Q16 due to factory upgrades, slightly skewing the data).
The 2nd quarter also saw Embraer deliver their 1,100th aircraft (a Phenom 300), as well as the sale of three Legacy 650Es to Air Hamburg – the aircraft’s launch customer.
