Deliveries of Embraer’s executive jets were steady year-on-year during the first quarter of 2019, matching the 11 deliveries made during the first quarter of 2018.

Embraer says that it delivered eight light jets and three large jets during the quarter. It adds that it is still on track to reach its delivery guidance of between 90 and 110 executive jet deliveries for the year.

Revenues across all operating sectors declined by 14.3% to $823.3 million. Embraer says this was largely due to lower commercial deliveries, as well as to lower revenues from sales of pre-owned executive jets.

Although revenues declined in almost all sectors, services and support saw a 2.2% increase.

The company says that it is expecting its new Praetor 500 and Praetor 600 private jets to be certificated by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) later in the year. Deliveries of the new jets would begin shortly afterwards.

Brazil’s certification authority, Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil (ANAC), certificated the Praetor 600 in April 2019.
