Embraer has delivered three more executive jets in the third quarter of 2019 than in the same period in 2018. The Brazilian manufacturer delivered 27 business jets in the quarter, a 12.5% increase from the 24 business jets it delivered in Q3 2018.

Embraer does not break down its deliveries to individual types in its quarterly financial releases, but reports deliveries by large-cabin and light jets. During the third quarter of 2019 it delivered 15 light jets and 12 large jets.

Light-jet deliveries slipped by two units, whereas large-jet deliveries were up by five aircraft. Large-jet shipments are likely to have been bolstered by deliveries of the firm’s new Praetor 600 business jets.

The first German-registered Praetor 600 was delivered during the quarter. It is the second Praetor 600 to be delivered in Europe.

Looking ahead, deliveries in the fourth quarter could be boosted by deliveries of the company’s new Praetor 500, which was given its type certificate by the Brazilian authorities during this year’s third quarter.
