Embraer has delivered the first Mexican operated Legacy 500.
Legacy 500 MSN 55000018 / XA-TUB was delivered in early August to Transpaís Aéreo. The aircraft will be based at Toluca, the business aviation airport close to Mexico City.
“We are very proud to receive the first Legacy 500 in Mexico,” said Hector Gonzalez, General Director of Transpaís Aéreo.“It will strengthen our relationship with Embraer products, being the largest Embraer Executive Jets operator in our country. We are sure that the Legacy 500 will be successful because of its exceptional performance and the comfortable attributes it provides.”
Embraer delivered five Legacy 500s during the first half of 2015, including two aircraft in the first quarter, and three in the second quarter.
“The delivery of the first Legacy 500 in Mexico highlights the market trend toward business jets that combine performance, range, low-cost operation and cabin comfort”, said Marco Túlio Pellegrini, president & CEO, Embraer Executive Jets. “I’m glad to see the first Legacy 500 enter service in Mexico.”
