Embraer delivers 119 business jets in 2013 after busy fourth quarter
Embraer has met its deliveries guidance for 2013 by delivering a total of 209 aircraft.
Embraer has met its target for 2013 with a total of 209 aircraft deliveries, consisting of 90 commercial airliners and 119 business jets.
In a preliminary business aviation review for the year, Corporate Jet Investor’s Alud Davies wrote that the Brazilian aircraft manufacturer looked likely to deliver less business jets in 2013 than it did in 2012.
Unusually, Embraer delivered exactly the same number of aircraft in 2012 as it did in 2011, with one unit shy of 100 aircraft delivered in each year. 2013 looks to have fewer aircraft delivered, with the current figure standing at 82 units.
Embraer added significantly to its annual total by delivering 53 business jets during the fourth quarter of 2013, compared to 66 aircraft in the first three quarters combined. These 53 consisted of eight Phenom 100s, 30 Phenom 300s, 12 Legacy 650s and three Lineage 1000s.
The company’s total of 119 executive aircraft throughout 2013 consisted of 90 light jets and 29 large cabin jets.
