Elliott Aviation, a company that supplies a range of aviation services from the US Midwest, has revealed plans to apply for a supplemental type certificate allowing it to install the new Aircell ATG 2000 broadband system on a number of business aircraft.

All STC’s are expected to be completed by first quarter 2014 and the range of aircraft will include Hawker 800/850/900, Phenom 300, King Air 350 and King Air B200/B200GT.

“The Aircell ATG 2000 gives mid and light-sized jet and turboprop operators reliable high-speed internet service at an extremely competitive price,” said Mark Wilken, director of Avionics Sales at Elliott Aviation. “Having WiFi on your airplane ensures that corporate passengers can be more productive, efficient, allowing them to have a better quality of life on the ground. Charter services and corporate owners are now able to offer services similar to those on major airlines at a more affordable price.”

Elliott Aviation is an authorised service centre for Beechcraft King Air, Embraer Phenom 100/300 and is the only independent Hawker authorised service centre east of the Rocky Mountains.

The companies ownes FBO centres in Moline and Des Moines in Illinois and Minneapolis, Minnesota.
