Edmundo Olivares joins Abogados Sierra, Vazquez, Olivares y Molina

Edmundo Olivares Dufóo has joined Abogados Sierra y Vazquez, one of Mexico’s top aviation law firms. With Olivares and Mario Molina, a specialist agricultural lawyer, joining the firm it will now be called Sierra, Vazquez, Olivares y Molina

Olivares has 24 years’ experience as a lawyer and has worked in a variety of public service roles at Mexico’s trade bank Banco Nacional de Comercio Exterior, the Ministry of Finance (Secretaría de Hacienda y Crédito Público), and the Institute for the Protection of Bank Savings (Instituto para la Protección al Ahorro Bancario).

He also worked at White & Case and was General Counsel and Secretary of the Board of Directors at Aeromexico.

Olivares graduated from the InstitutoTecnologico Autonomo de Mexico (ITAM) and has a Masters Degree in International Economic Law from the University of Warwick in the UK. Olivares has also been a part-time professor at ITAM as well as at the Universidad Anahuac
