EASA grants Legacy 450 a type certificate

The Embraer Legacy 450 has received type certification from EASA. The granting of the certificate follows the recent approval by the FAA and Brazilian authorities.

The mid-light Legacy 450 can fly nonstop from New York to Las Vegas, Dubai to Moscow and Jakarta to Hong Kong. The aircraft can seat up to 9 passengers.
Production of the Legacy 450 has already begun and the first delivery is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2015.
