Duncan Aviation Provo names new Gulfstream team leader
Lincoln, NEB — Duncan Aviation in Provo, Utah, is pleased to announce that Enrique Marquez has accepted the Gulfstream/Embraer Airframe Team Leader position. Marquez will work closely with his counterparts at the Duncan Aviation facilities in Lincoln, Nebraska, and Battle Creek, Michigan, to develop consistent services and capabilities at the growing Provo facility.
With 36 years of aviation experience, Marquez will be instrumental in establishing the critical resources required to successfully service large Gulfstream/Embraer projects in the new Provo hangars. Marquez has spent considerable amounts of time in both Lincoln and Battle Creek working with the Gulfstream and Embraer teams to build critical relationships, standardize processes, and establish quality expectations within all three of Duncan Aviation’s Gulfstream and Embraer teams.
His extensive knowledge and expertise will help guide and mentor the newer technicians, maintaining the Duncan Aviation culture at the Provo facility.
“Duncan Aviation is extremely fortunate to have Enrique lead the Gulfstream and Embraer Airframe service efforts in our Provo location,” says Chad Doehring. “He brings a high level of experience, attention to detail and passion for customer service to this critical position.”
Marquez joined the United States Navy after high school and worked on a variety of aircraft, including the Navy’s Gulfstream II and III fleets. After retiring from the Navy, he began his career in corporate maintenance, working on Hawkers, Beechcraft, and Embraer aircraft.
In his spare time, Marquez and his wife Margail spend time with their 10 children, going camping, fishing, and hiking.
“I’m excited to be part of the Duncan Aviation family in Provo and look forward to helping grow the team,” says Marquez.
