Deer Jet looks outside China for new FBOs

Chinese operator Deer Jet says it is looking outside its native China for locations to open new FBOs.

Although Deer Jet president Zhang Peng would not say where the company is looking, he did say that there would likely be an announcement in 2015.

Earlier this yeark, Deer Jet opened a new FBO in Changsha, Hunan province.

Zhang also said that Deer Jet will announce the locations of three more FBOs in China by the end of the year, along with a further 3-4 in 2015.

The Deer Jet fleet currently includes 82 aircraft, 42 of which are based in Beijing. Shanghai is home to 20 of Deer Jet’s aircraft, whilst Hong Kong has eight.

A further eight aircraft are based overseas, half of which are based in Houston are operated StarBase Jet, two are in Dubai and a another two are based in Moscow.
