Davis spent almost 30 years in business jet finance. During this time he was involved in financing business jets worth over $20 billion in 80 different countries. He liked the fact that five of these countries no longer exist.
“His contributions to this industry and NAFA will not soon be forgotten,” said the board of the National Aircraft Finance Association. “It was a great privilege to have known David and it is hard to comprehend that we will be denied the pleasure of his company at future NAFA events.”
Davis started his career with Cessna International Finance as regional manager for Asia/Africa & Pacific and also worked for Textron Financial. He then moved to Bombardier and Raytheon before joining CIT.
He was president of the National Aircraft Finance Association for 2005-2006.
Davis received a BA in Political Science from Friends University in Wichita, Kansas, and an MBA from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Our thoughts are with his wife, son, other family members and his many friends.
